FRIENDSWOOD, Texas—Friendswood police were on the hunt for a cross-dressing bank robbery suspect Thursday after a hold-up at a Wells Fargo.
It happened around 1:52 p.m. in the 3100 block of FM 528.
Police said the suspect entered the bank, displayed a small silver handgun to the teller, took an undetermined amount of money and walked out.
Witnesses told police he may have gotten into a blue Chevy driven by another man outside.
Police said the suspect was attempting to disguise himself as a woman, and he may have been wearing black makeup.
They said he was approximately 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a very thin build and an olive complexion.
Police said he was wearing a long, black wig, a black shirt and fishnet shorts. He was also carrying a shopping bag.
