ALVIN, Texas—Danbury Resources were investigating a pipeline explosion at an oil field near Alvin Monday morning.
A pipeline that transports natural gas at Hastings Oil Field ruptured around 5 a.m., according to a company spokesman.
The line was quickly shut down and officials said there was never a threat to the public.
