HOUSTON—A motorcyclist was killed after losing control and crashing in northwest Harris County Thursday night, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.
The 57-year-old man was traveling southbound on Stuebner Airline near Lyons School Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, hit the median and slid into the northbound oncoming lanes.
The rider was not hit by any other vehicles, but was not wearing a helmet, according to HFD.
He was transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center with CPR in progress, but could not be saved.
