HOUSTON—An officer working a funeral procession flew into the back windshield of another vehicle after his motorcycle was clipped in southeast Houston, according to Houston police.

Police said a Patton Village police officer was struck by another vehicle in the 12800 block of Cullen around 12:45 p.m.  The impact sent the officer soaring off his bike and into the other vehicle’s window.

The officer was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The person in the other vehicle was transported to Southeast Memorial Hermann in an unknown condition.
