HOUSTON—Three people were hospitalized early Monday after a man leaving a popular lounge in Uptown Park struck them with his brand-new Lamborghini, according to Houston police.

Police said the driver was leaving the Belvedere lounge around 2 a.m. when he lost control of the luxury car, then struck two vehicles and two pedestrians.

Both pedestrians and a woman from one of the other vehicles in the accident were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Lamborghini driver told police he bought the car only a week ago and it was still somewhat unfamiliar. Police said the driver was not intoxicated.
