HOUSTON—Friday is going to be a drizzly, cloudy day and the weekend may be a wet mess, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
Overnight fog and rain caused for a couple of advisories Friday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory was in effect until 10 a.m. in the Greater Houston area and until noon on the coast, where the fog was thickest. There was an urban and small stream flood advisory in effect for northern Liberty County and southern San Jacinto and Polk County due to overnight rainfall.
As for the temperatures, Friday kicked off with lows in the upper-60s and highs are expected to top off in the upper-70s. There is also a 40-percent chance for rainfall throughout the day.
An approaching front is going to drop our temperatures and increase our rain chances for the next couple of days. Saturday will see lows in the mid-60s and an 80-percent chance for rain, and Sunday will see lows in the upper-40s and a 60-percent chance for rain.
