HOUSTON – A man, who was angry that his vehicle had been towed, was arrested after hitting an employee at a storage yard in northwest Houston late Tuesday, according to Houston police.

The man had apparently parked his car in an illegal spot at City Centre Tuesday evening, and his car was towed.  The man and his female companion caught a taxi cab to  KTL Auto Storage Yard in the 1700 block of Brittmoore near Hammerly around 11 p.m., and when he arrived, he hopped into his car and tried to leave without paying.
He was allegedly trying to tailgate another vehicle out of the lot, when he hit a female employee  near the gate.
Police said the impact knocked the woman down.  HFD transported the injured woman to the hospital with a hyper-extended knee.
The man was arrested at the scene.
