HOUSTON -- Residents along FM 2094 in League City were given the all-clear after crews fixed a ruptured gas leak, according to CenterPoint Energy.  FM 2094 is the main link between League City and Kemah to state Highway 146.

Police said 22-year-old Miguel Hinojosa ran into a light pole in front of an apartment complex near FM 2094, also called Marina Bay Drive, around 10 p.m. Thursday. He was arrested for DWI and booked into the Galveston County Jail.

A Texas-New Mexico crew was working to repair the pole when they ruptured a six-inch natural gas pipeline around 2:30 a.m. Friday.  They called CenterPoint Energy for assistance.

Residents in the Fairways at South Shore apartments lost internet and cable for a while, but no other services were lost.

No schools in Clear Creek ISD were affected.

The leak was repaired before noon.
