HOUSTON—The driver of a station wagon lost control and slammed into an electrical pole in north Houston early Monday, according to Houston police.
Police said the driver was traveling southbound on Yale around 4 a.m. when he lost control at 41st Street and slammed into a pole.
The driver was extracted from the vehicle by Houston firefighters and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident did not cause a power outage.
