HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Two brothers are accused of severely beating an elderly neighbor on Sunday in the Lake Houston area.
Dennis Turner was charged with injury to an elderly individual. His brother, Bradley Turner, was charged with aggravated assault.
It happened at 322 Magnolia Point Drive around 2 p.m.
According to court documents, 82-year-old Reuben Burk was standing on his property when several dogs tried to attack his dog.
Burk told police he then fired a pellet gun at the dogs.
Police said Dennis Turner, 22, walked onto Burk’s property and struck him in the face a couple of times. The other brother, Bradley Turner, threatened to shoot Burk and hit him with his gun.
Bradley Turner was on parole for burglary and is being held without bond. Dennis Turner remains in jail on a $10,000 bond.
