HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Police are trying to find out who shot and killed an 18-year-old inside her home early Friday morning. Deputies say Jubelle Serano was at home with her 6-year-old sister when they reportedly heard someone trying to enter their house, located at 2539 South Camden Parkway. Serano reportedly called her boyfriend and told him about the incident. Investigators say the boyfriend drove to the house and knocked on the front door and called 911 when he did not get an answer. The girls’ father and deputies eventually arrived on the scene. They went inside the home, and they found the teenager dead, say deputies. The 6-year-old was found unharmed. Witnesses told deputies they saw two young males in the area of the shooting. They say the men were wearing white shirts and or jackets and blue denim pants. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).

How very sad! Hope the 6-year-old can give descriptions, and will receive counseling.

How sad that this young woman has had her life snuffed out by evil so very young. I am holding in my heart all who loved her, and especially her 6-year-old sister, for whom things will never really be the same. I hope the authorities make quick work of identifying and arresting the perpetrators of this senseless murder. Our justice system is simply not keeping up with the violence these days. They are unlikely to get everything they need in the way of manpower and other resources, but the rest of us, as citizens, can be very diligent about observing what goes on around us and reporting it without delay. I have pledged not to just lay down and let evil take over, but to be proactive in restoring the kind of peace and security many of us remember from many years ago. My fondest dream is that babies coming into the world now will grow to hear their families talk of how things have IMPROVED in the years since they were born.

texpert2........GREAT POST!!!!!!!..........................................why did this girl call her boyfriend first?...it seems to me she would have called dad or 911 first......in my opinion unless the 6 yr. old can clear him 100%,they ought to try and punch holes in the boyfriend's story....cuz it stinks as far as I'm concerned........

Another story of how citizens are not safe in their own homes but we still have idiots crying out for a ban on gun ownership. The criminals in this country are destroying our families and our way of life. We can keep on burying our heads in the sand and pretend there is no crime problem or we can start taking our cities and neighborhoods back. We can begin by untying the hands of our law enforcement officers who are too afraid of getting sued and fired to be proactive and do what has to be done to get these scum off the streets.
