Fish or Shrimp Vera Cruz
Serves 4-6
Time 15 min
4 – 6 fish filet's of choice or 1 lb shrimp; peeled, cleaned, deveined
Adams Seasoning
1 Jar Cookwell Two Step Vera Cruz Sauce
Pre-heat sauté pan over med heat.
Season fish or shrimp w/ Adams Seasoning.
Add fish to pan and sauté with a little olive oil. Cook 3-4 min then flip. For shrimp cook until ½ done in a little olive oil.
After flipping fish pour sauce over top, lower heat, and let simmer until done on low. For shrimp, let simmer until shrimp is done approx 5 min.
Optional – Saute some peppers, onion with the shrimp to make a "chunky" style.
EZ Weeknight Chicken Cacciatore
Serves 4-6
1 ½ - 2 Lb chicken; boneless skinless
Adams Seasoning
1 Jar Cookwell Two Step Cacciatore Sauce
1 Bell pepper; sliced (optional)
1 onion; sliced (optional)
1-2 cps sliced mushrooms (optional)
Pre-heat sauté pan over med heat.
Season chicken w/ Adams Seasoning.
Add chicken to pan and sauté with a little olive oil. When chicken is half done add veggies.
When chicken is almost done add sauce, turn heat down to low, and simmer for 10 – 15 min.
Serve over rice or pasta w/ a salad and some garlic bread.
Pineapple Teriyaki Shrimp or Chicken Stir Fry
Serves 4
Time 15 min
1 Lb peeled, cleaned, and deveined shrimp
½ Cp Canyon Star Chef Pineapple Ginger Teriyaki Sauce
1 Green bell pepper; julienned
1 Red bell pepper; julienned (optional, check price)
1 Onion; julienned
1 Cp matchsticks carrots
Adams Sear n Crust Seasoning
Pre-heat sauté pan over med heat
Add veggies to hot pan with a little olive oil, season with Adams Seasoning and sauté for 3 min.
Season shrimp with Adams Seasoning, add to pan and cook until just changes color (2 min).
Add sauce and heat through.
Serve over reg or Jasmine rice.
Substitute – Can use chicken if desired. Chicken can be pre-marinated up to 6 hours ahead of cooking. Add chicken to pan first then veggies because chicken takes longer to cook then shrimp.
Asian Slaw
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Serves 6 - 8
½ Cp Cookwell Asian Ginger Dressing
1 Bag Tri Color Slaw
¾ Cp Cranberry Jubilee Trail Mix
½ Container mango pico de gallo or 1 small can pineapple "tidbits"
½ Cp low fat mayo
Mix, let sit 30 min in refrigerator and serve.
