4. Stages Theater: Always...Patsy Cline extended through Nov. 9

In honor of Stages' 30th birthday, they’re reviving the single most requested production in our history—Stages' own beloved “Always...Patsy Cline.” Based on a true story, this tribute to the legendary country music singer and her friendship with devoted Houston fan Louise Seger is rich with down-home country humor and includes 27 of Cline's unforgettable hit songs. The theater is tiny and intimate – there’s no other live theater experience like it!

5. More Than You Can Imagine The upscale consignment shop used to have regular girls night out events, but now they offer them to people who book them for a group. Celebrate a birthday, or just celebrate a night without the boys in 3,000 square feet of a girly wonderland. They’ll provide the food, drinks, music, valet parking. Have a ball trying on clothes and shopping in privacy.

Texas Women’s Conference Over 6,000 women from across the state are expected to join First Lady of Texas Anita Perry for an all-day conference featuring keynote addresses from eBay CEO Meg Whitman and others. 7. Breast Cancer Awareness month / Treat yourself! Proceeds benefit research – Crave cupcakes is doing pink ribbon cupcakes, Alden Hotel is selling Tickled Pink martinis.

8. Bliss Nail Spa – brand new salon. They doing SPA parties for groups of girls. They have a special “throne” in a private room for small groups of women to book manis/pedis together.

9. The Four Seasons restaurant Quattro has put together an interactive Thursday Night Farmer's Market dinner where up to 12 people can reserve a spot at the chef's table at Quattro. Anywhere from 4 to 12 will make homemade pasta with the Executive Chef. While the pasta is cooking, the group walks over with the chef to the Thursday Farmer's Market at Discovery Green to pick out locally grown organic sides and salads for dinner. The group comes back and finishes making the pasta and fresh salads.

$125 per person...the interactive dinner is three courses paired with wines with Chef guiding you through the whole meal and taking you over to market. The price includes the food purchased at the market, but does not include tax and grat. The guests will be able to take part in the production of their meal...perhaps making their ravioli, building their own salads and preparing their own tiramisu.
