The Arthritis Foundation, the only national not-for-profit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions will hold its annual Arthritis Walk®. Vendors will be on premises to entertain the attendees, walkers will have a chance to win surprises and give-aways. This family-oriented event welcomes dogs.

JUST IN:    

The Arthritis Foundation just announced that entertainment will be proudly presented by 359, an energetic and fun alternative/classic rock band consisting of 13 and 14-year-olds. Members include are Neil Byers on bass and vocals, John Wilson on rhythm guitar, harmonica, keyboards and vocals, Dillan Dostal on lead guitar and vocals and Chris Befeld on drums and vocals. Congratulations to our largest team this year, Richmond Bone & Joint!  With 80 walkers, seven teams, and three locations (Richmond, Sugarland, and Katy) Richmond Bone & Joint, will rock the walk!  Their team has also proudly chosen their own Walk Hero, 13-year old Logan.

320 lively walkers are confirmed and about 500 are expected!

Arthritis Foundation is hosting a “Yappy Hour” from 5 PM – 8 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at West Alabama Ice House and welcomes people and pups – dogs get arthritis too!
