Whether she is skating with the Aeros Mascot, Chilly, or playing the violin with the Houston Symphony, if it's happening in Houston, Cristina Terrill's got it covered.  As the intrepid reporter for Houston's newest morning talk show, Great Day Houston, Cristina is out and about covering the city's best events, parties and festivities live from the scene. With her clever knack for knowing what's next, she is always busy finding the newest hot spots and most adventurous activities Houston has to offer.

Before joining the Great Day Houston team, Cristina worked locally for Channel 55's "Wild About Houston," a current events news magazine show. As the show's reporter, she covered some of the city's biggest events including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Houston International Festival. In addition to her reporting duties, Cristina contributed to several of the station's other programs such as " Sports off Center" and "High School Sports Live," where she brought sideline shows with cheerleading, marching bands, dancers and drill teams to life with her playful and colorful reports and profiles.

Cristina started her career co-hosting the nationally syndicated show, " Teen Talk," which ran on major networks such as NBC, ABC and the WB.  While at "Teen Talk," she interviewed teen celebrities and uncovered the newest teen trends in music, fashion and pop-culture. In addition, Cristina covered hard hitting issues including teen pregnancy, abortion, peer pressure and teen drinking. 

A native Texan, Cristina graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2002 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.  She enjoys spending time with her family, who recently moved to Houston from their home in Ft. Worth.  Friends, baking, exercising and playing with her new puppy, Bella are just a few of Cristina's favorite things.
