Prime 1 Kabobs

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 8-12 minutes

Serves 4       

Ingredients:

4    Prime 1 Beef Kabobs                                

1 ½ Tbsp Adams Reserve Peppercorn Garlic Sear n Crust

1     Tbsp Texas on the Plate Soppin Sauce

1      Tbsp Olive Oil or Non Stick Spray     

Directions:

Heat grill until temperature reaches 375 degrees. For charcoal wait until all briquettes are covered in gray ash.

Rub or spray the kabobs with olive oil or non stick spray and sprinkle with the Peppercorn Garlic Sear n Crust.

Start the kabobs over a high heat section of the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Move to a cooler or cold part of the grill and close the grill lid for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes open grill and kabobs will be approx Medium Rare doneness. Remove from grill and brush with Soppin Sauce and serve.

For Medium or Well Done continue cooking for 2 additional minutes per doneness desired.

Texan Veggie Kabobs

Preparation/Marinating Time: 45 minutes         

Cooking Time:  8-10 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients:

4    HEB Veggie Kabobs                                

½    Cup Texas on the Plate Vegetable Marinade

Salt and Pepper

HEB Olive Oil Non Stick Spray                      

Directions:

Heat grill until temperature reaches 375 degrees. For charcoal wait until all briquettes are covered in gray ash.

Place kabobs in a 9x13 pan or a double bagged Ziploc bag and pour Vegetable Marinade over kabobs. Turn to coat entire kabob.

Let kabobs marinate, turning frequently for 30-40 minutes.

Rub or spray the kabobs with HEB olive oil non stick spray and sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.

Start the kabobs over a high heat section of the grill and cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Move to a cooler or cold part of the grill and close the grill lid for 5 minutes.

Open the grill and veggie kabobs should be fork tender but not mushy. Remove and serve immediately.

Texas Heritage Sausage Kabobs       

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time:  8-12 minutes

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

2    pkgs TX Heritage Sausage(5 flavors to choose from)                                 

1     each Red Bell Pepper and Yellow Onion, cut in 1 in pieces

2     Tbsp Better Than Good BBQ Sauce

HEB Olive Oil Non Stick Spray

Wooden or Metal Skewers                

Directions:

Heat grill until temperature reaches 375 degrees. For charcoal wait until all briquettes are covered in gray ash. Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes.

Slice sausage links into 1-2 inch sections keeping different flavors separate.

Place pieces of sausage on skewers and alternate flavors of sausage. Separate the sausage pieces with pieces of onion or bell pepper.

Rub or spray the kabobs with HEB olive oil non stick spray.

Start the kabobs over a medium heat section of the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness level.

Serve with Better Than Good BBQ Sauce on the side for dipping.

Lil’ Texan Sliders         

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time:  10-12 minutes

Serves -3 adults or 6 kids

Ingredients:

6    HEB Prime 1 Seasoned Sliders(4 flavors to choose from)                                

1     Pkg Hawaiian Rolls

3     Tbsp Better Than Good Bacon Jam

HEB Olive Oil Non Stick Spray               

Directions:

Heat grill until temperature reaches 375 degrees. For charcoal wait until all briquettes are covered in gray ash. Spray the sliders lightly with HEB olive oil non stick spray.

Place sliders on grill over medium high heat and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees.

Split or tear rolls in half and place slider on one half.

Top with 1-2 teaspoons of Bacon Jam per slider. Top with other half of roll and serve immediately.
