Braids are the Rage!
Waterfall Braid
Directions:
- Start the braid on the left or right side of the front of head
- Continue the braid towards the back of the crown of head and incorporate some hair while braiding down at a slight angle
- While adding hair on the top, start releasing some of the hair below
- Secure with a few bobby pins
Fishtail Braid
Directions:
- Take all hair over to one side and split into two even sections
- Take a piece of hair from the back one of the two sections, pass it over the top of that section and add it to the other section of hair
- Repeat this step, this time taking the piece of hair from the other section or hair, passing it over the top and adding to the other section
- Keep repeating alternating between the two sections until reaching desired length of the braid
- Secure braid at the end with an elastic
- Give it an unfinished look by taking out some flyaways
Fringe Braid
Directions:
- Gather three small sections of hair from front hairline and begin braiding starting with the back most length first
- If wearing hair up, continue to incorporate hair closest to the hairline braiding back towards the ear
- After finishing this braid, secure the braided hair back using bobby pins to hold it in place
- Hair can be left up or down to provide variety to this look
Braided Bun
Directions:
- Decide the height you would like your braided bun and secure hair into a ponytail
- Separate ponytail hair into threepieces and braid
- Roll hair into a bun and secure with bobby pins
