Braids are the Rage!

Waterfall Braid

Directions:

  • Start the braid on the left or right side of the front of head
  •  Continue the braid towards the back of the crown of head and incorporate some hair while braiding down at a slight angle
  •  While adding hair on the top, start releasing some of the hair below
  •  Secure with a few bobby pins

Fishtail Braid

  Directions:

  •  Take all hair over to one side and split into two even sections
  •  Take a piece of hair from the back one of the two sections, pass it over the top of that section and add it to the other section of hair
  •  Repeat this step, this time taking the piece of hair from the other section or hair, passing it over the top and adding to the other section
  •  Keep repeating alternating between the two sections until reaching desired length of the braid
  •  Secure braid at the end with an elastic
  •   Give it an unfinished look by taking out some flyaways

Fringe Braid

Directions:

  •  Gather three small sections of hair from front hairline and begin braiding starting with the back most length first
  •  If wearing hair up, continue to incorporate hair closest to the hairline braiding back towards the ear
  •  After finishing this braid, secure the braided hair back using bobby pins to hold it in place
  •  Hair can be left up or down to provide variety to this look

Braided Bun

Directions:

  • Decide the height you would like your braided bun and secure hair into a ponytail
  •  Separate ponytail hair into threepieces and braid
  •  Roll hair into a bun and secure with bobby pins
