Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Polska Kielbasa Sausage
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 pkg. (6.8 ounces) packaged Spanish Rice mix
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (14½ ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- Hot pepper sauce to taste
Directions:
- Cut sausage into ½” slices; set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add rice and cook 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring frequently.
- Slowly stir in water and seasoning packet.
- Add Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa and all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook 20 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat; stir. Let stand covered for 5 minutes and transfer to a disposable pie plate. Wrap tightly with foil.
- At your tailgate, warm the Jambalaya on your grill over medium-low heat. Serve with additional hot sauce.
