- Your favorite bread from the store bakery (not from the bread aisle). It should be fresh, but not too soft to withstand the grill!
- Your favorite cheese
- Your favorite deli meats
- Your favorite condiments
- Veggies (optional)
1. Preheat your grill.
2. Assemble Sandwiches:
*First, spread condiments on the inside of each slice.
*Then, make sure cheese is on top of each side that you've put condiments on.
*Your deli meats and optional veggies should be in the very center.
3. Spray grill with non-stick cooking oil (optional...depends on grill).
4. Place each sandwich on the grill for 1-3 minutes (or just until cheese melts).
5. Using a cutting board and serrated, or heavy. French knife, slice diagonally. Plate by mounting one on top of the other and serve at once.
*Have all ingredients ready and in order for assembly. Antonette usually lets each person make their own when she has it for a party. It makes it more fun and easier for her.
*Serve with salad, soups, chips and dip, a veggie platter, cole slaw, potato salad, and/or pickles!
