Philly Chicken Sandwich

Philly Chicken Sandwich

Serving: 1

Fajita Chicken Strips                                                        3oz

Mozzarella Cheese, Part Skim                                    1 oz.

Yellow onions                                                                    1 oz.

Red Bell peppers                                                              1 oz.

Green Bell peppers                                                         1 oz.

Black pepper                                                                      ½ tsp

Garlic, granulated                                                            ½ tsp

Pan coating                                                                         ½  tbsp

Whole Wheat Sub roll                                                    1 each (2oz)



Step 1: Cut the vegetables into long strips

Step 2: Season vegetables and chicken with black pepper and granulated garlic

Step 3: Heat the chicken to a temperature of 165 degrees.

Step 4: Add vegetable mixture and sauté with the chicken until the vegetables begin to sweat.

Step 5: While your chicken mixture simmers at low heat, toast the wheat sub in an oven at 350 degrees for 2 mins.

Step 6: Top the wheat sub with the philly chicken mixture, then top chicken with mozzarella cheese and place on a plate for service.
