What was your dream job as a kid?
To be an Astronaut.

What is your favorite thing about Houston?
The People…Houstonians are very friendly and all-around good people.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?
My guitar.

If you could trade lives with someone for a day, who would that be?
Probably the coach of the Dallas Cowboys. I’d love to coach the Cowboys for a big game.

What do you watch on TV?
Mostly sports, sports, and sports. I also like watching the old shows from the 50s and 60s on ME-TV and Antenna TV, but for newer shows I only like the more innovative ones like “American Horror Story” (the 1st series), “Bates Motel,” “The Following,” and “Mad Men.”

Name one song that can make you get up and dance no matter where you are.
“Come On, Eileen” by Dexy’s Midnight Runners

What is your hidden talent?
Doing character voice-overs.

If you had a million bucks, what would you do with it?
Probably spend a lot on helping shelter animals and wildlife refuges…I’m a big animal lover!

If you could be any animal, what would it be?
A monkey. So I could do lots of tricks and get rewarded for them all!

Share one of your favorite moments on Great Day Houston.
My favorite moment was our very first show…when we had Country singer Clay Walker bring his horse into the studio. Even the newsroom was buzzing about that one!
