The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are the featured performers in this weekend’s Wings Over Houston at Ellington Airport.
The event, which is in its 32nd year, is also set to features aerial performances by the AeroShell Acrobatic Team, several acrobatic performances, a demonstration flight of the F-16 viper and an Air Force Heritage Flight, which will include an F-16 Falcon, P-47 Thunderbolt and an F-35 Lightning II Stealth Fighter, among other performances.
The airshow will honor the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, paying tribute to the service, sacrifice and heroism demonstrated during WWII Tora! Tora! Tora! Will perform their explosive reenactment of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Ace pilots and military veterans will make appearances in the Legends & Heroes Autograph Tent. The show will also include several World War II veterans, including Col. Dick Cole, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday and is the last surviving member of the famous Doolittle Raiders.
