LAFAYETTE, La. - One little girl is on the fast track to becoming the most adorable doctor in town.

In a video posted online Aug. 31, 2-year-old Claire Mentel checks her parents' heartbeats in the cutest way possible.

In her "good night, sleep tight" shirt, she uses a pink "stepascope" as she puts it.

Her parents, Erika and Jeff both work in the medical field, so Claire clearly knows the drill.

In the video, she stands in front of her dad and sternly tells him to take deep breaths "again and again and again" as she moves the chest-piece.

Once dad checks out OK, it's mom's turn and Claire says, "OK, sweetheart! Let's do it!"

At this, her parents had to hold back their laughter because their toddler meant business.

Jeff posted the adorable video to Facebook saying, "Hmmm, thinking we may have another health care provider in the family. Go Dr. Claire! Ok sweetheart!"

Erika says their little "drama mama" will turn three in two weeks.
