Lego KidsFest kicks off at NRG Center

KHOU 11 reporter Lily Jang is live from Lego KidsFest at NRG Center. LEGO KidsFest brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event.

HOUSTON - The Lego KidsFest kicked off to sold-out crowds on Friday at NRG Center.

Children can enjoy more than 20 exhibits that include Lego Star Wars, Lego Disney Princesses, Lego Master Lab, the Lego Model Museum and more.

The festival brings creative hands-on, minds-on fun of Lego building and experiences together. It's a family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests, according to the festival's website.

The festival lasts through Sunday at NRG Center.

Friday's session lasts until 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, Session I begins at 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and Session II begins at 3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The last two sessions run at the same times on Sunday.
