BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - A unique flood-relief drive has been focused on making sure young women in Louisiana can still attend their school dances in style.

"Hope For Homecoming" collected over 600 dresses from more than nine stores and will donate them to teens who are victims of the recent historic flooding.

"It brings out their joy, it brings them a new boost of energy when probably they're going through a hard time." said Sarah Wampler with Soiree, a clothing store in Baton Rouge.

According to their Facebook page, tomorrow is the last day dresses will be collected. The dresses will be distributed to teens at St. Joseph's Academy on Sunday.
