NEW YORK - What do RodeoHouston, NASA and New York Fashion Week have in common? Just ask New York fashion designer Vivienne Tam. She featured the Houston icons in her spring collection Monday at Fashion Week.
Tam now calls H-Town her second-favorite city, according to Women’s Wear Daily. She was inspired by “Houston’s mash-up of art, music, dining and science/technology,” WWD reported.
Tam also drew inspiration from the rodeo and even used its iconic logo in her collection. She will donate a percentage of sales from the collection to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
There are plans in the works to bring Tam's show to Houston before the Super Bowl at NRG Stadium in February.
