Conroe couple marries at haunted house on Halloween

A couple from Conroe made sure this Halloween was memorable.

CHANNELVIEW, TEXAS - A couple from Conroe made sure this Halloween was memorable.

They got all dressed up, then got married at a haunted house.

Shelley Jones and Steven Carrol had their “Hallowedding” at the Houston Terror Dome in Channelview.

They picked Oct. 31 for their big day, because it is exactly halfway between their birthdays.

The idea was to make the event something the whole family could enjoy.

“She has her two children. I have my two children. We’re like our own little Brady Bunch…or maybe The Addams Family,” Carroll said.

“I don’t know, I was like, ‘Hey why don’t we do it at a haunted house?!’ He said, ‘That sounds pretty cool!’” Jones said.

After tying the knot, the newlyweds spent the evening celebrating at the Houston Terror Dome.

They say that will be part of their new family tradition

“It’s one of our favorite holidays anyway, so it’s something we can do with our kids. Every year we can do with our kids,” Jones said.
