HOUSTON -- It's that time of year when Houstonians embrace their inner cowboy or cowgirl and saddle up for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The three-week event kicks off Thursday through Saturday with the World Championship Bar-B-Que Cookoff. Trail Riders will hoof it to Houston on Friday, then head downtown for the Rodeo Parade on Saturday at 10 a.m.. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off Monday with Toby Keith as the headliner.
More than 2.2 million people turned out for the annual event at Reliant Park in 2012, and the crowds could be even bigger this year.
We've put together a RodeoHouston Roundup that includes downloadable maps to help you get around, helpful links to answer your questions, the daily forecast, headlines, photo slideshows and much more!
