Zara Phillips is expecting second royal great-grandchild

Another royal baby is on the way.

Zara Phillips Tindall, Olympic equestrian and Queen Elizabeth II's eldest granddaughter, is expecting a second child with her rugby star husband, Mike Tindall. The baby will be the sixth great-grandchild for the 90-year-old monarch.

"Just a quick one to say thank you for the messages," Mike Tindall tweeted after the news was shared. "We are very very happy about the little one on its way."

The baby will become the younger sibling of Mia, the couple's 2-year-old daughter, and second cousin to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In a statement, the palace said, "The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal Family are delighted with the news." According to the BBC, the baby is due in the late spring.
