GRIDIRON 2016: POKEMON, POLITICIANS AND PUN(DIT)S will be the official fundraiser for journalism scholarships for the Houston Press Club.  Occurring on Saturday at 7pm at MATCH Theatre in Midtown, tickets are $35 (includes cocktail party) and go towards a great cause. 
 
THIS IS KINGWOOD FESTIVAL will have live music, arts & crafts, carnival, petting zoo, costume contest.  Saturday, 10am – 6pm in Kingwood Town Center.  This is a Free event! 
 
SCARECROW FESTIVAL will have Scarecrow contest, live music, carnival, food trucks, apple bobbing, face painting, pumpkin decorating, Saturday, 11am – 4pm at Cross Creek Ranch (Fulshear).  Tickets are $10.
 
KIDS' ULTIMATE FITNESS CHALLENGE is the nation's largest mobile fitness event; time-based obstacle course and a great time for kids to stay fit.  Saturday, 10am – 6pm at University of Houston, this is a Free event.
 
DRACULA - The Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre performance of this classic vampire tale.  Performances are Friday, 7:30; Saturday, 2pm & 7:30pm; Sunday, 2pm at University of Houston, Clear Lake: Bayou Theatre.  Tickets start at $27.50.
 
CONROE CAJUN CATFISH FESTIVAL will see live music, food vendors, arts & crafts, carnival, KidZone, etc.  Friday, 6pm – midnight; Saturday, 11am – midnight; Sunday, 12pm – 6pm in downtown conroe.  Tickets are 1-day, $12; 3-day, $20; kids 12 & under, Free.
 
MUCKFEST MS EVENT EXPERIENCE is a muddy 5k obstacle course benefiting National MS Society.  Saturday morning 1st wave begins at 9am.  Happening at Royal Purple Raceway (Baytown), you can register online to participate and help find a cure for MS.
