San Antonio Beer Festival 2013

San Antonio Beer Festival 2013

It's no secret. San Antonio will use just about any excuse to sit back and sip on some suds. Fiesta is still a grueling six months away, but Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, was all about the 8th Annual San Antonio Beer Festival. Over 200 craft brews, from a wide-range of breweries, were on tap and ready to quench every beer enthusiast's bottomless glass -- OK, it was an 8-ounce plastic cup -- for five hours straight. And the sounds of live reggae and laughter only got louder as the drinks wore on. What better way is there to get locals to show up somewhere, midday on a Saturday, than a bonafide tribute to one of the world's oldest beverages: beer?
