HOUSTON – RodeoHouston officials say a roller coaster at the center of a deadly accident will not be back at the 2012 event.
Brian Greenhouse, 47, fell 30 feet to his death from the High Miler roller coaster at the Rodeo last March.
The safety latch on his seat came loose.
A federal investigation found that the company was to blame. Though the ride itself won’t return to the Rodeo, the company that owns and operates it will be back.
The Greenhouse family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the HLSR and the ride operator.
