HOUSTON – Kids who want to ride the Techno Jump at RodeoHouston will have to do it with an adult from now on.
The move came after a 3-year-old girl fell off the ride Wednesday afternoon.
Rodeo officials said the girl met the height requirements for the ride, but was on it without an adult.
She apparently crawled out from under the safety latch and fell onto the metal platform.
The girl was taken to the hospital with bruising on her face and head.
Now, RodeoHouston officials have decided that even if a child is tall enough to ride, they need to be accompanied by an adult.
