HOUSTON—Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo officials say they are installing an additional fence after a bull escaped from its pen on Sunday.
Surveillance video captured images of the 1,000 pound animal making a run for it. According to rodeo officials, a gate malfunctioned during the closing process and the bull broke free.
Law enforcement officers managed to herd the bull away from people and into the employee parking lot, where a wrangler contained the animal.
The animal stepped on and bruised a worker's foot and body slammed a security guard during its escape.
