HOUSTON – You know you need your cowboy boots and your hat, but do you need a flu shot before you head out to RodeoHouston this year?
Dr. Grant Fowler with UT Health Family Medicine said the Rodeo provides the perfect storm for the flu virus, and cases tend to peak in big crowds.
The number of flu cases has been on the rise in Texas since the first of the year, according to the CDC.
Flu season ends in May.
