Prince Harry, Meghan Markle get honeymoon invite to Antigua and Barbuda

Does Gaston Browne know something we don’t?

The prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda extended an invitation Monday to Prince Harry and his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, that seemed to embarrass his royal highness The Telegraph and E! report.

“I understand that there may be a new addition to the royal family very soon,” Browne began. “I am told that there may be a princess, and I just want to say that should you make the decision to honeymoon, then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you.”

Browne’s cringingly awkward sentiment was a tie in to tourism.

“We have been voted consistently as the best honeymoon destination in the Caribbean,” he said, “and one of the best in the world — so there will be nowhere in the world as special to spend your honeymoon when that day arrives.”

News outlets reported Prince Harry was so uncomfortable during the speech he fidgeted and stared at his shoes.

Before introducing the taken royal to some ladies, Browne told the 32-year-old, “I am quite sure you will have a wonderful evening, and remember whatever is done here, stays here. So do not worry.”

Yeah, we’re guessing the Suits star’s reaction to that is a big, fat no.
