Kid Cudi returns to stage after rehab: 'I love every single one of you'

Kid Cudi returned to the stage Saturday night, marking his first public appearance since checking himself into rehab for depression last month.

"Listen, I miss every single one of you, I love every single one of you," he said from the stage at the first night of ComplexCon in Long Beach, Calif. "I know life is crazy, (but) we can make it through. I am living proof!"

According to Complex, Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, 32, sang his hits Pursuit of Happiness, Frequency and Erase Me. He was joined by Pharrell, Travis Scott and King Chip to perform their collaborations.

Cudi fans embraced the artist, and shared their love for him on Twitter.

He is set to release new album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' soon, after premiering videos for the singles Frequency and Surfin' last month.
