Jennifer Lopez isn't subtle about her support for Hillary Clinton. In fact, the singer performed Let's Get Loud (and other hits) in a concert Saturday in Miami for the presidential candidate. She had some patriotic outfits, "Vote Hillary" signs and this introduction for the former secretary of state:
"Ladies and gentlemen, the next and first female president of the United States, Hillary Clinton."
Lopez and Clinton, who was escorted onstage by Marc Anthony, hugged.
"We just heard Jennifer perform Let's Get Loud. I say, let's get loud at the voting booth," said Clinton to a mostly Latino crowd.
Though the Obamas weren't at the event, their presence was felt. As you can hear in a YouTube video posted by Zero Boy, Michelle Obama's words, "When they go low, we go high," were sampled in Lopez's song Get Right.
And Barack Obama's voice also figured into a song. During Lopez's performance of Love Make the World Go Round, attendees heard part of his speech about how all Americans, "black, white, Latino, Asian American," etc., are stronger together.
J.Lo emphasized the "Latino" part from his speech, as you can see in her Instagram video.
