HOUSTON—Robert Redford was in town Friday night to be honored for his legendary career at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival.
The actor, director, producer and film fest organizer received a Cinema Arts award.
The Hollywood legend has ties to Houston after recently opening the Sundance Theater downtown.
“It’s a great city, I am so happy Houston is really embracing the arts the way they are and we like being a part of it,” he said.
Redford also said he was incredibly honored to receive the award.
