HOUSTON—In a foodie city like Houston, it’s no wonder Houston Restaurant Weeks is one of the most anticipated culinary events of the year.
HRW raises money for the Houston Food Bank -- $800,000 last year alone.
Diners can enjoy a three course dinner for $35, and some participating restaurants offer a two-course lunch menu for $20.
Restaurants donate $5 from each dinner and $3 from lunch to the Houston Food Bank.
This is the biggest year ever, with 150 Houston-area restaurants participating. Check it out August 1-31.
