The Change.org petition, which was started by the Good Food Institute earlier this month, has over 28,000 signatures.

While other national chains like Chipotle, Whitecastle and even Burger King offer vegetarian-friendly options, the organizers of the petition point out that In-N-Out has failed to do the same, leaving vegetarians with no choice but to order “multiple orders of French fries or a cheese-slathered bun.”
The petition will be delivered to
And while the petition is less than 10,000 signatures away from its goal of 35,000 signatures, not everyone is on board.
Others want to know why veggie burgers are so controversial. Can't we all get along?
