Dubbed as the Toxic Avenger in Editorialist.com's latest feature, Jessica Alba opens up about her Honest company, which was started to help new moms and children with safe, eco-friendly, affordable products. Alba says, "It took me three years of spending my own money, pounding the pavement, getting doors closed in my face and people thinking I was nuts. But then I found the right partners, we put together a great deck and once we streamlined the concept, the design aspect and the business model, it was really easy for people to understand." Jessica also opens up about her body after having children and choosing to wear corsets. "A friend suggested it—it’s something that people do in Africa and India. It just puts your stomach muscles and all your organs back into place. it’s just to give your body muscle memory of where it was, but you don’t lose weight or anything. You have to diet and exercise for that." The full interview can be read in the latest Editorialist.com feature.
