PEARLAND – A family of bald eagles has made their home in Pearland’s Cypress Village II subdivision.
Their nest is on private property in the neighborhood.
The owner of the land has put up "no trespassing" signs because he doesn’t want the public to disturb the nest.
Even though eagles are no longer endangered they are still protected by law. People have to stay at least 100 yards away from the birds. Violators can be fined.
