AUSTIN — The "Red-Headed Stranger" was on the red carpet at the Paramount Theatre Sunday for the premiere of "When Angels Sing" at South by Southwest.
Nelson is a member of the star-studded cast, which also includes Harry Connick, Jr., Connie Britton and Lyle Lovett.
The movie is set in Austin, and celebrates the music scene for which the city is famous.
"It's a good script, and some friends of mine — Harry and Chris and everybody in the movie — we had a lot of fun doing it," Nelson said.
The movie features performances by Willie, Lovett, Guy Forsyth, Sara Hickman and appearances by Bob Schneider and Ray Benson.
