HOUSTON – Members of a popular band traveling through Houston were devastated to learn their van and several precious instruments were stolen from a hotel parking lot over the weekend.
"Trout Fishing in America" are four-time Grammy nominees best known for their family music and children’s songs.
The crime happened Saturday, January 29, at an unknown hotel where their van was parked.
Photos and descriptions of the stolen instruments have been posted on the group’s Facebook page. Band members Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet are asking fans to check area pawn shops to see if they turn up.
