THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Former lead vocalist for the Gap Band, Charlie Wilson, triple platinum neo-soul/R&B artist, Erykah Badu, and the legendary R&B group, The O’Jays, performed to a large crowd on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

“The rain stopped just in time, and the show was perfect,” said Daniel Jackson. “I brought my wife to see The O’Jays.”

This event was the first spring edition of “Majic Under the Stars,” presented by Radio One Inc. and KMJQ Majic 102.1 in conjunction with Live Nation.

“Charlie Wilson did not disappoint during his set, and I fell in love with him all over again,” said Paula Reid.

Besides good food, drinks, and a break from the Houston rainy weather over the weekend, fans enjoyed soulful music all night.

“This was my first time seeing Erykah Badu perform, and I’m still speechless,” said Gina Watson.
