DALLAS -- "Yo, yo and hello" is no more.

For 28 years, the great Randy Galloway graced the local sports-talk airwaves with a style all his own.

On Monday evening, the 70-year-old Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist said goodbye to his radio audience.

"Thank you everybody, and, look — as they say at the rodeo, 'We'll see you down the road somewhere,'" he told listeners to his show on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM.

"I'm gonna drink beer; bet horses; play golf; and just drive around and look at stuff," he added. "That's what old people do, huh? That's the way it oughta be."

Galloway will continue to write for the Star-Telegram.
