HOUSTON -– The Grammy Award-winning band Mumford and Sons has postponed its upcoming shows in Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans after bandmate Ted Dwane suffered a blood clot on the surface of his brain.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning on the band’s official Facebook page. The band was supposed to perform in Dallas on Tuesday night and in Houston on Wednesday.

A statement from the band indicated Dwane was being treated and should recover quickly from surgery.

The band says the new dates for the postponed shows will be announced soon, and all tickets will be honored at their rescheduled dates. There are no plans to cancel shows beyond Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans.
