AUSTIN, Texas – Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong made an unusual appearance at a reggae festival over the weekend.
He played drums on four songs for a band called “Lance Herbstrong.” The crowd cheered along, excited about the athlete’s appearance.
Armstrong went to Twitter to tell fans what it was like to play music for fans in his hometown.
The cyclist recently sold his Austin mansion, but he said he still plans on making the Texas town his home.
The New York Daily News reported Armstrong played four songs with the playfully named group, including a song called “Pass the Dutchie.”
